The services include executive leadership, strategy, operational oversight, supply chain, technology, human resources, benefits, financial reporting, treasury management, legal counsel, training and more.

Executive Leadership:

W. Craig Barber - Chief Executive Officer Craig joined Restaurant Growth Services, LLC as CEO in October 2017. His responsibilities include leadership for the O’Charley’s Restaurant + Bar and 99 Restaurant & Pub casual dining brands with over 250 restaurants in 24 states. He is also responsible for all support services for those brands. Craig began his restaurant career in 1983 with Shoney’s, Inc. after six years with Ernst & Young. Prior to his current role, he was a Denny’s franchisee and served for 10 years as Chair of the Denny’s Franchisee Association Board. In addition to serving on the boards for the operating businesses, Craig is proud to serve on the board of trustees for The Folded Flag Foundation.
Kurt Schnaubelt -   Chief Financial Officer Kurt joined Restaurant Growth Services, LLC as Chief Financial Officer in June 2019. Kurt is responsible for all financial management and information systems supporting the restaurant brands. Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University along with a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island. Kurt was previously a Managing Director with Alix Partners, a global financial advisory and consulting firm, in their restaurant & hospitality practice. Prior to Alix Partners, Kurt held senior financial roles at several restaurant brands.
Mark Spurgin -   Chief Supply Chain Officer Mark serves as Chief Supply Chain Officer having joined Restaurant Growth Services, LLC in December 2018. Mark manages all aspects of the supply chain for Ninety Nine and O’Charley’s. He is a strategic and tactical leader focused on delivering sustainable cost reductions, improved cash flows and increased margins while ensuring adequate supplies to the brands. Mark’s career includes Vice President positions at The Cheesecake Factory, Inc. and Bloomin' Brands, Inc. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics with a minor in Agri-business from Texas A&M University.
Clint Lautenschleger -   Senior Vice President of Human Resources Clint serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, having joined Restaurant Growth Services, LLC in July 2021. He has over two decades of recruiting and human resources experience in restaurants, hospitality, retail and financial services. Like many in the restaurant industry, he began his career at McDonald’s where he served as crew leader and trainer before high school graduation. He was most recently Vice President of Human Resources Services for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. Clint earned a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behavior and Communication from Ohio State University.
Robert Langford -   Chief Concept Officer – O’Charley’s Robert ‘Bob’ joined O’Charley’s in January 2018 as Chief Marketing Officer. In August 2018 he transitioned to serve as Chief Concept Officer for the Village Inn and Bakers Square brands. In April 2019, he added Chief Concept Officer for O’Charley’s Restaurant + Bar to his responsibilities. He currently provides senior executive leadership for O’Charley’s 151 locations as to restaurant operations, marketing, culinary and training. Bob has served in brand-wide capacities as Chief Operating Officer for Shoney’s with 800 restaurants and Chief Marketing Officer for Denny’s with 1,600 restaurants. Bob also has experience as a franchisee and franchisee association board member for both of those brands.
